On Monday Feb. 16th We will be having a Special Membership NIght at our regular meeting.
The District Convention is March 13, 14, & 15 in Hudson OH.
Our Annual Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday April 11th @ Middle Sandy ChurchSpring Conference is Saturday April 25th @ Alliance High School 8:30am-2:00pmThe Homeworth Lions Club Annual Charter Night is Saturday May 2nd. 6:00pm Social 6:30pm DinnerThe Homeworth Lions Club is currently selling $500.00 Grocery store raffle tickets.
For over 56 years, The Homeworth Lions Club have served the Homeworth area through hard work and commitment to make a difference in the lives of people in this area. We are members of the world's largest service organization, Lions Clubs International. The following list is just a few ways that we serve our community:
- Eye Care Program: Exams and glasses provided free of charge to people who can not otherwise afford this care.
- Elementary School Eye Screenings: Conducted in the West Branch Local School District to detect possible sight problems in school children.
- Holiday Food and Gift Baskets: Provided to families in the Homeworth community to help make the Holiday Season more enjoyable.
- Homeworth Community Easter Egg Hunt
- Homeworth Halloween Parade and costume contest
- The GOOD Program & The International Peace Poster Contest at West Branch Middle School
- The Homeworth Lion Club is proud to sponsor a LEO Club at the West Branch Middle School.
- The Homeworth Lions Club gives a Scholarship & a Book Grant to graduating Seniors at West Branch High School.
The Club host several fundraising events to to support our activities financially. Some of these projects are:
- Funnel Cakes and Lemon Shakes are sold during the Carnation Days in the Park Festival. We are also at Sebring 4th of July, Mile Branch Grange Fair,& Carnation Rib Burn-off
